Sekolah Dian Harapan provides a holistic transformative Christian education for students from Kindergarten to Grade Twelve.

It’s a September to remember! Learning happens everywhere, not just in classroom. As a quote said, time spent learning with kids in our class is never wasted. It won’t be enough time to explore learning anytime anywhere. We are so excited to share what’s going in junior class on September.
Grade 1 students were having fun to explore their parts of body and making 5 senses book. Drawing their friends’ body and labelled each part were kind of new experience they had. They were challenged to present their first poster to other classes. Yes…they have done great jobs!

Making document box using unused box was another exciting moment for grade 2 students. They made a document box to keep their family important documents such as certificate, family photos, etc. They wrapped the box creatively.

Grade 3 and 4 students had new experiences in fieldtrip. Visiting Siti Anna Nurshing Home for Grade 3 was an unforgettable moment. They learnt planting hydroponic plants. They would take care of it and enjoy the harvest at home!

It might be an exciting day for grade 4 when they visited one of their friends house. We learnt how to take care of some animals such as deer and wallet. These might be the first time experience getting so close with a deer! It might be scary yet fun.

Welcome to Grade 5 Carnival day! It was a culminating activity to explore their talent. They learnt how to be a great event organizer by designing a parade and games. They invited all junior students and their parents to join games in their class and they all had much fun!

Cooking elective goes to Mokko Factory

Junior cooking elective was having fun at Mokko Factory Giant. They learnt how to make and decorate doughnut. They also made a lemon tea by themselves. It was such a great experience they had as a little baker there!
