Student-led Conference Junior
Student-led Conference is a form of report on term 3 by showing the students’ result through portfolio which displays their works and reflection throughout the academic year. The students lead the conference independently.
The students go to school with their parents on the planned time. At class, they will introduce their parents to their homeroom teachers and vice versa. Then they will take their portfolios and present them before their parents.
After presenting portfolio, the students will take their parents to the specialist teachers where they demonstrate the learning activities they have had in that lessons. The students are also able to involve their parents in the presentation.
By this activity, the students are able to show their reflective skills and also give the pictures for their parents about their academic development throughout the academic year. As a result, parents and students can work cooperatively in planning the things that need to be improved or kept in order to finish their learning successfully in the related academic year.
