K2 CULMINATING ACTIVITY – OCT 6TH 2017 : Three Magic Words
This first quarter was special. Because K2 students have learned about family. They did not just learn about family members, but they also learned how to respect the family members such as mom, dad, brother, and sister. At the end of this quarter, we had culminating activity together with parents. All parents were invited. It was held on Friday, October 6th 2017. The theme of our culminating activity is magic words such as sorry, please, and thank you. Through this activity, the students are expected to show respect to their parents by using those magic words.
We did all activities together with parents. Teachers asked students to sing songs together with parents. We played game “Simon Says” that involved parents. Also, we made two flowers as part of art and craft activities. The first flower is for the student, and the second flower is for their parents. Students made the flowers with parents’ guidance. So they need to say please to ask for help. They also need to say thank you after their parents helped them. Moreover, we also had lunch. We had so much fun together! And we did not forget to show respect to parents while doing the activities.
