On Wednesday, 22nd March 2017, SDH Holland Village held its first Student Led-Conference (SLC). SLC is an event where the students inform their learning process at school to their parents.
The students led the entire process of SLC. Each student presented their learning processes during these three quarters to their parents. Students guided their parents for class tour to see their works, school facilities and documentation of their activities. At the end of the event, the student and parents did a collaborative activity and write a reflection of this SLC.
As the purpose of this SLC, parents are expected to know about the learning process of their children at school through presentation of their projects. On the other hand, SLC becomes a link to build the relationship between students and their parents. The students will feel appreciated by their parents when parents can see the result of their learning and parents can feel proud about the project of their children.
