First Aid Training
On August 19th, all teachers and staff attended first aid training. From this activity, teachers and staff were equipped with lot of information on how to do first aid if students have minor injuries or "accidents" in school. This training was directly delivered by the professional medical personnel from Siloam Hospital, Kupang.
In the training, teachers and staff learn how to deal with students who are unconscious, nosebleed, injured, even severely injured like fractures. During the training, all participants and coaches were enthusiastic, there were many questions from the participants too. The atmosphere become alive, when the participants shared their experiences happened with the students. Because there were various cases of injuries faced by the participants which made them curious. This training was not talking theoretical explanation from the doctor only, but also by some Siloam hospital Kupang’s nurses who acted as the trainer in the small groups. The participants who attended the training were enrich with some practical manner to do the first aid, so that they are ready to handle the students who injured under any circumstances.
Siloam Kupang Hospital is ready to help the school if students or other school residents need further help.
