Inculcating the love of reading books to students is one of the teacher's role. Therefore, schools regularly conduct an activity called Book Week. On this occasion, our Book Week activities took the WISDOM theme that was in line with the school theme of the year: Precious than Gold. With such a good theme, students were invited to read the biographies of Christians who have brought great impact in the history of life. Thus, students were expected to have a wider insight about the people God uses and to perform their best as a response to God's calling for their lives. This Book Week event was held for one week, starting from January 22 – 26 2018. All activities were held in schools and involving all school civitates. Various interesting activities were designed to achieve the purpose. The activities were: logo competition, Sustained Silent Reading, Reading Buddies, Read Aloud, Library Quest, Book Fair, and also Culminating activities on the last day. Each activity had its own impression on everyone. Students learnt to be more concerned with others in the Reading Buddies, spending money wisely for inspiring books, and also learning to read calmly and independently during the SSR time. Students were also invited to get to know the library through interesting games. At the end of Book Week celebration, all students excitedly recounted the experiences and stories about the characters they read. From the whole series of activities, it could be seen that students, teachers, and other school workers can gain the great values to respond to their calling in life.
