SDH Makassar Students Won the 2nd Prize of Hasanuddin University Chemistry Smart Challenge 2017

Thanks be to God, three school representatives of Junior High school of Sekolah Dian Harapan (SDH) Makassar had won the second prize of chemistry competition conducted by Universitas Hasanuddin.

Thanks be to God, three school representatives of Junior High school of Sekolah Dian Harapan (SDH) Makassar had won the second prize of chemistry competition conducted by Universitas Hasanuddin. Those three students were Angeline Ciayadi, Daniel Djie and Kenneth R. Kusumah. Titled “Chemistry Smart Challenge”, this competition was conducted from Friday to Monday, March 4-6, 2017 located at University of Hasanuddin, Makassar. Those three SDH Makassar students specifically won the second prize of Quick Chemistry Quiz.

This achievement had made the teachers and parents proud. But not only students’ achievement that the teacher most proud of, but also from their hard work process they have been through. Andrea Okem, one of the teachers who trained the students in this chemistry competition said, “I previously thought that it is their victory that made me proud. But I realized that the things made me proud the most are the moments when we studied together, laugh together, afraid and get nervous with them: all of these has become unforgettable moments in my life.” He encouraged the students to keep fighting in giving the best to God and remember that God can use every person with each of their ability for His glory.
