Grade 6 students are learning about ASEAN

This December, grade 6 students are learning about ASEAN, specifically about natural features in Indonesia. On December 6th 2018, they had a fieldtrip visiting two places relating to their current unit learning. The first place they visited was BASARNAS Palembang. In there, students learnt about how to handle natural disasters. The second place was Kampung Almunawar. This is an Arabian- descendant village in Palembang, located in the riverside of Musi River. Students learnt the history of this village which brings them to the understanding of how natural features of a place affecting their social, economy and cultural life.
